The Big Easy

I just spent the weekend in New Orleans for my friend BT’s bachelor party. It was my first time in “The Big Easy”, and I must say I was not overly impressed. Bourbon street may be the dirtiest place I have ever been. For some reason I pictured more than just sleazy strip club after sleazy strip club, but I guess not. I did enjoy the few other parts of the city that we saw (and no, we did not do any “disaster tourism” to go look at the wreckage from Hurricane Katrina). The gumbo and shrimp po’ boys were pretty good too.

Despite me being overly critical of New Orleans, the bachelor party was a lot of fun. It was good to hang out with everyone again. More pics on Flickr
